The Eastern Panhandle Neighborhood Initiative is proud to support programs that make sure every young person has access to safe, positive recreational opportunities, no matter their family’s ability to pay.
Through the Access to Play Fund, we work to remove financial barriers so no child ever has to miss out on recreation, learning, or community. For many kids, programs like Open Gym, mini camps, and STEAM workshops are more than just activities. They are places to belong. They connect students with peers, caring adults, and opportunities to build skills that last a lifetime. Confidence, teamwork, creativity, and resilience are just some of the things our kids carry with them long after the activity ends, and they strengthen our Eastern Panhandle community.
The Access to Play Fund steps in when families face financial challenges, whether it is covering the five dollar fee for Open Gym, providing a scholarship to attend camp, or helping a child join a STEAM workshop. By opening doors for every student, we create a community where all families feel supported, included, and encouraged to thrive.
Every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can ensure that kids in the Eastern Panhandle always have spaces to learn, play, and grow.
